We believe strongly that the APA is the best pool league out there. Here are some of the reasons we believe you will agree with us.
First, the APA is designed so that everyone can play. The Equalizer® Handicap System levels the playing field and allows lower-skilled players the chance to win too. This is different than other leagues where only highly skilled players can compete.
Second, since the APA is the largest pool league in the world, participating in this league leads to all kinds of fun opportunities. Our teams here in
Southeast Texas
will compete in a Local Team Championship (LTC). The number of teams in our area will determine the number of teams we will be sending to Vegas for the National Team Championship. The APA guarantees nearly $1.5 million in national tournament prize money every year.
Numerous other tournaments are available throughout the year also for those who are actively participating on an 8-Ball or 9-Ball teams. Qualifiers are held through out the year for Regionals that are held in October and March. Winners of the Regionals go to Las Vegas in April or August.
Third, this league is about having fun! Great sportsmanship is expected. Poor sportsmanship is not tolerated.
Finally, of importance to both players and host locations, this pool league is operated by a full-time staff person being the local League Operator, and a part-time team member. This means that your paperwork (score-sheets, etc.) will always be dropped off on time, your questions/concerns will always be quickly addressed, and you’ll have the excellent customer service you deserve. Our goal is to make this a most enjoyable experience for both the players and the host locations!
